Inter Greek Council
The Inter-Greek Council (IGC) is the governing body for all general Greek-Letter Chapters. The Council is headed by the Internal Greek Intern and supervised by the Director and Assistant Director of Greek Affairs. The group is also comprised of external Greek Intern, Presidents from each of the four councils, and Presidents of Order of Omega and the Greek Conduct Board.
IGC exists to support Greek Chapters as integral parts of an enriching experience for undergraduates at UCSB. Further, the Council upholds high standards for its chapters and their members through the Greek Conduct Board and on-going educational opportunities discussing:
The council meets twice a month, usually every other week, to discuss matters pertaining to the Greek system including Greek Week, alcohol and substance abuse, health issues, council-wide programming, Scholarship Banquet finances, new programs, etc. Please call 893-3966 for more information.
