The UCSB Greek community is made up of four Councils (click on the link to learn more):
CPC – Women’s Sororities
IFC – Men’s Fraternities
UFSC – Culturally based Fraternities and Sororities
NPHC – Primarily African-American based Fraternities and Sororities
Greek Life is a very important part of UCSB student culture, with 8% of undergraduates belonging to Greek organizations. The Greek system provides its members with essential skills and opportunities beyond those of the classroom. Each organization provides support for their members, whether academic or otherwise, as well as opportunities for leadership, community service, and friendships, that will last a lifetime.
