- While in the process of seeking funding from the After Dark program, applicants are required to meet with the Office of Student Life Campus Organizations Advisor, Richard Jenkins (893-4551 or jenkins-r@sa.ucsb.edu) to complete the activities planning process.
- Pick up an application in the Office of Student Life or download and print at
www.sa.ucsb.edu/osl/.
- Be sure to complete all sections, obtain the authorized signatures and provide a detailed breakdown of the event budget. Failure to do so could delay the review of your application.
- Attendance at the weekly Minor Events committee meeting, to secure proper event authorization approval signatures, is required by the Campus Organizations Advisor.
- Applications for events beginning prior to 9:00 p.m. must provide compelling reasons for After Dark monetary support in order to be consider for funding. The committee reserves the right to decline or reduce funding requests for events scheduled
prior to 9:00 p.m.
- Applications must be submitted two weeks in advance of the event to the Office of Student Life for consideration by the UCSB After Dark Advisory Committee.
- The student group representative is contacted by the MacPherson Intern and scheduled on the agenda after a review of the application. A representative from the organization must meet with the After Dark committee to present and discuss their application prior to funding consideration and approval.
