UndocuGrad Prep Program

The year-long program is meant to support students who are thinking about applying to a graduate program (master’s, doctorate, teaching credential programs, business school, and law school) for the 2022-2023 academic year. For medical school please check out Pre-Health Dreamers for additional programs available to students. This program is different from the UndocuGrad Workshops Program which is for students interested in learning about graduate school but not ready to apply.

Topics Discussed

Students who participate in the UndocuGrad Prep Program will receive individual and collective support with:

  • Choosing a Grad Program
  • Personal Statement & Statement of Purpose
  • Connecting to financial resources for application fees
  • Mentorship & Networking Opportunities
  • Workshops
  • and more!

Program Requirements

Attend 3 workshops and one individual meeting with a USS staff per quarter. You will also speak with graduate students and receive advice from someone in your desired type of program.

Applications for the fall 2021 quarter are currently closed. If you are applying for grad school and are not in the UndocuGrad Prep Program, you can still receive support from USS. If you are not ready to apply to graduate school but are interested in learning more about it, stay tuned for a future program on exploring graduate school as an undocumented student.
