UCSB's EAO program serves students in 38 junior high schools and 40 high schools in Kern, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.
These schools are listed below.
At six designated "partner" high schools, EAO-trained staff serves as full-time, on-site Academic Advisors.
Academic Advisors assist students in UC eligibility and admissions information, transcript evaluations, academic course planning, and coordinate PSAT/SAT workshops.
They also encourage student participation in pre-college summer programs and learning skills development through the EAO Academic Development component.
Advisors work closely with high school guidance counselors in keeping them informed about UC admission criteria and eligibility.
