At EOP, we understand that making the transition to college may be an overwhelming experience for parents. Knowing if your son or daughter is safe, choosing the right courses to graduate, and seeking help for academic or personal issues are common anxieties that parent's face. Because we share in those concerns, the Educational Opportunity Program provides assistance to your son or daughter throughout their attendance at UCSB. Making a one-on-one advising appointment with a counselor or meeting with a peer advisor are just a few examples of the ways students can access university resources. As a member of the Educational Opportunity Program, you can be assured that your son/daughter will receive the individual and caring attention needed to succeed in a university environment.
