AdCRC Library Collection

AACS Library Over the years, African diasporic Cultural Resource Center has received several book donations from students, faculty, staff, community members, and local businesses. The collection ranges from African American history to statistics to jazz to sociological theory to medical school admissions test preparation. Currently, the collection is composed of over 200 books and it is still growing!

The AdCRC library collection is a resource here for YOU. Feel free to stop by the AdCRC located in the Student Resource Building during regular building hours to check out a book.

The check out process is easy. Just leave us with a little information about yourself, and you will be well on your way with a borrowed book from our collection! You are on your honor to return the book in the same condition as when it was originally checked out. (No highlighting, no pen/pencil marks, no bent edges, etc…)

If you are interested in donating books to our collection, please drop them off at the Educational Opportunity Program located on the 2nd floor of the Student Resource Building during regular business hours or make arrangements with the AdCRC Coordinator or Student Intern. Please include your name with your donated books.

Thank you in advance for keeping this collection on on-going tradition within the UCSB community!
