Freshman Sessions - Preparing for Summer Orientation

After you have selected your Summer Orientation session date choices by submitting the online Freshman Reservation Form, we will begin to process your request. A confirmation postcard will be sent to you by U.S. Mail indicating your assigned session date. Allow approximately 7 days from the time we receive your Reservation Form for your confirmation by mail. If you have not received your confirmation postcard within 7 days, please call us to find out your assigned session date. Further information about preparing for your arrival at Summer Orientation is included below.

If you are in the Freshman Summer Start Program Orientation on August 1-2, see FSSP Only Session.

Check-In

Check-In is from 7:30-9:15am at Manzanita Village. We advise you to arrive as early as possible to avoid the last-minute rush and to take advantage of tours that are offered. At Check-In, you will receive a packet of Orientation information and a schedule for the two-day session. Students and parents who are staying overnight off campus must also check in between 7:30-9:15am.

Declared Dance and Music majors must check in by 8:15am in order to attend a mandatory advising meeting with their department at 8:45am.
