Alpha Gamma Omega (AGO)
http://orgs.sa.ucsb.edu/ago
We here at Alpha Gamma Omega pride ourselves on our strong brotherhood, excellent academics, competitiveness in athletics, and our Christian fellowship. We strive to better the community, university, and ourselves by participating in and around the Isla Vista area. As part of the Greek system and the Christian community, we hold very dear to our morals, ethics, and purpose that it shall be an aim to further ourselves as individuals. Here at AGO, we enjoy spending time in fellowship through social gatherings and personal interaction. Each of us here brings something new, different, and unique. We're all brought here by our love for the Lord and hope that upon your arrival to UCSB, you'll stop by and say hello. We'd be happy to show you around, so stop on by!

Alpha Tau Omega (ATO)
http://www.joinato.org
The Alpha Tau Omega brothers are a diverse group of individuals from all over the nation. With members from Washington, Oregon, Illinois, Michigan, Arizona, and California, Alpha Tau Omega provides some of the most influential leaders on campus and in the community. ATO participates in countless hours of community service each year and hosts the annual All Sorority Volleyball Tournament. The brothers of Alpha Tau Omega share, "a bond as strong as right itself and as lasting as humanity" (Alpha Tau Omega Creed), which can be seen through our unmatched desire to create a strong brotherhood. Brotherhood events include an Annual Fishing Trip off the coast of Santa Barbara, Broomball Tournaments, and Barbeques for UCSB's championship sport's teams. Every member would tell you that joining Alpha Tau Omega was the best decision they ever made so we encourage you to come over and make that decision for yourself.

Beta Theta Pi (Beta)
http://www.BetaUCSB.com
http://www.betathetapi.org
As an academic leader at UCSB, the members of Beta Theta Pi realize that their success in the classroom reflects the ideals upon which their fraternity was founded in 1839. Not willing to let academics be their sole strength, the members of Beta Theta Pi have consistently performed well in intramural and Greek-sponsored sports. In addition to academic success, the members of Beta Theta Pi regularly volunteer at Isla Vista Elementary and at Coal Oil Point Reserve where they work to restore the surrounding habitats. The next year will be a year of growth for Beta Theta Pi, both at a local and national level, and one in which Beta Theta Pi makes its lasting impression upon UCSB and its surrounding community.

Kappa Sigma
http://www.kappasigma.org/
Kappa Sigma is one of the largest fraternities in the world with over 250,000 brothers and over 300 Chapters worldwide. Our main objective is to make good men better. This objective rests on the four pillars of Kappa Sigma: Fellowship, Leadership, Scholarship and Service. The Fraternity strives to promote the ideals of brotherhood, contribute to the personal growth and development of its members, promote ethical behavior and decision-making, and serve the community. By diligent adherence to these principles, each member will enhance his college experience, learn invaluable life lessons, and discover new lifelong friendships. In spring 2005, Kappa Sigma returned to UCSB as a colony after a 36 year hiatus and within one year's time, Kappa Sigma returned to UCSB as a Chapter. We are always looking for dedicated, intelligent, and loyal men from all walks of life, races and faiths-who want to better themselves, gain valuable lifelong connections, and experience life to the fullest-to join our ranks. Even if you don't think that describes you, come check us out. It is better to try something than do nothing at all and regret it.

Phi Sigma Kappa (Phi Sig)
http:/www.phisigmakappa.org
At Phi Sig, we work hard and we play hard. Last year, we raised money for the Special Olympics and house-boated outside Las Vegas at Lake Mead. We went to Mexico and we have had more students involved with campus organizations and on the Inter-Fraternity Council executive board than any other fraternity. We do the fun stuff fraternities are known for and the impressive stuff that helps our brothers out during and past their college years. Phi Sigma Kappa is one of the oldest fraternities at UCSB, founded in 1966, and boasts one of the largest alumni bases. Brothers from our chapter at UCSB are Superior Court Justices, successful businessmen at Santa Barbara, and one even kidnapped Patty Hearst (James Kilgore 1966).

Pi Kappa Alpha (Pike)
http://www.pikes.org
Pike takes pride in producing men who will be the quality leaders of tomorrow. We achieve this by following a motto called "SLAG": an anagram which stands for Scholars, Leaders, Athletes, and Gentlemen. Members of our house are proud to be men exemplifying these characteristics.
Scholars: With a house G.P.A. that is above the all-men's average.
Leaders: With members in active leadership roles not only within the fraternity, but on campus and in the community.
Athletes: With a very strong record of wins in on-campus intramurals and inter-fraternity events as well as having members active on the collegiate level.
Gentlemen: With good morals instilled daily by every one of our members.
Pike is not just an organization that will improve your college experience; it is a brotherhood that will change your life. It is an experience that will not only stay with you; it will remain a part of you throughout your life.

Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE)
http://www.sae.net
Welcome to UCSB! I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Unlike most, Sigma Alpha Epsilon was not an official fraternity until November 2005 when it was re-chartered and made apart of the Inter- Fraternity council. Since that point, we have accomplished an incredible amount: growing to become one of the largest fraternities on campus, acquiring a 10,000 square foot fraternity house (which formerly was a sorority house so it is cleaner than most), and having more NCAA athletes than any other fraternity on campus (over 30 athletes). Currently, we hold athletes from UCSB's Track and Field, Baseball, Volleyball, Golf, and Lacrosse teams. Our members champion the credo of being, "True Gentlemen" not only to each other, but also to those around us. We have created a brotherhood that emphasizes camaraderie between its members through the commonality of our commitments both academically and socially. We invite you to check out Sigma Alpha Epsilon and experience what we have to offer.

Sigma Phi Epsilon (Sig Ep)
http://www.sigep.org
Sigma Phi Epsilon, the nation's largest fraternity, was founded on the ancient Greek principles of sound mind and sound body. Nationally, we strive to build balanced leaders for the world's tomorrow. Our chapter of over 80 men allows members to benefit from a diverse brotherhood and a long tradition that ensures their fraternity experience is one that will last a lifetime. Sig Ep offers an active social calendar, academic support, a variety of athletic intramurals, and university and alumni alliances that will undoubtedly enhance your experience at UCSB.

National Pan-hellenic Council (NPHC)

Kappa Alpha Psi
Kappa Alpha Psi was founded on the campus of Indiana University on January 5, 1911. The Fraternity's fundamental purpose is achievement. Early in this century, African-American students were actively dissuaded from attending college. Formidable obstacles were erected to prevent the few who were enrolled from assimilating into co-curricular campus life. This ostracism characterized Indiana University in 1911, thus causing Elder W. Diggs, Byron K. Armstrong, and eight other black students to form Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, which remains the only Greek letter organization with its 1st Chapter on the University's campus.
United Fraternity Sorority Council (UFSC)

Gamma Zeta Alpha
Nine men who felt a need to provide more options for Latino men to choose from founded
the Kappa Chapter of Gamma Zeta Alpha Fraternity, Inc. on June 11, 2000 at UC Santa
Barbara. Because there is a need for visibility of the Latino culture and heritage,
these men felt that the establishment of this fraternity would serve as an outlet
for Latino men to connect with. The Kappa chapter at UCSB recognizes and upholds
the original principles that this fraternity was founded upon, which are academic
excellence, community service, and the maintenance of the Latino culture.

Nu Alpha Kappa
Founded in 1992, the fraternity, composed mostly of Chicano/Latino students, seeks to unite and involve all students in a more harmonious and brotherly atmosphere through academic, social, and cultural means. Nu Alpha Kappa strives to provide opportunities for interaction and cooperation among students from various backgrounds in order to improve relations among all students and the community. Membership is open to any male UCSB student who has been matriculated for at least one year.

Sigma Chi Omega
Sigma Chi Omega was founded in 1993 by ten friends who wanted to give back to the community what they themselves received: support, encouragement, and service. Without the limit of racial boundaries, Sigma Chi Omega, a multi-cultural fraternity, seeks to contribute to the betterment of the University of California Santa Barbara and other universities as it expands to other campuses. When you are in Sigma Chi Omega, you are not only among brothers, you are among friends.

Zeta Phi Rho
Zeta Phi Rho promotes academics, community service, and a sense of strength and unith within each of the members' brotherhood and respect for each person in the chapter and community.
