The College Panhellenic Council (Panhellenic) is the governing board for 10 sororities at the University of California, Santa Barbara. The governing board consists of 10 elected officers, one from each chapter, as well as 10 chapter delegates. The board meets weekly and allows chapters to be more informed of the activities that other sororities are participating in and learn more on how individual chapters, as well as the 3 other fraternity and sorority councils, can work together to create a more unified Greek system at UCSB. Ultimately, the goal of Panhellenic is to encourage communication and cooperation between chapters and facilitate constant improvements to the quality of Greek Life at UCSB.
Panhellenic is also the governing body behind UCSB’s annual Fall Recruitment for the 10 sororities they represent and elects an officer to chair Greek Week every Winter quarter.
