UCSB After Dark Weekend Calendar
The UCSB After Dark Weekend Calendar, is a UCSB weekly entertainment guide highlighting
Thursday, Friday and Saturday night alcohol-free and non-alcohol centered events
happening on campus, around Isla Vista and in the communities of Goleta and Santa
Barbara The calendar is provided as a resource to students and campus organizations
and supported by the Office of Student Life fee. Listings must be submitted at least
one week prior to each Thursday’s issue of the Daily Nexus. E-mail submissions to

UCSB After Dark Late Nite Social Programming Fund$
The UCSB After Dark program allocates funds for student-initiated, alcohol-free
social events and activities which serve as alternatives to the Isla Vista party
scene. To be considered for funding events must be: sponsored by a registered OSL
student organization or A.S. entity; social, recreational or entertainment-based;
scheduled for a Thursday, Friday or Saturday; open to the entire student population;
scheduled in the evening, preferably late night hours (after 9 p.m.); held in a
public venue, on campus or in IV; and alcohol-free or non- alcohol-centered. Applications
are available in the Office of Student Life. Questions can be directed to the MacPherson
