The UCSB Office of First-Year Programs is supported by the Student Life Fee, the Students' Initiative Fee and generous private benefactors.
The logo for the Office of First-Year Programs symbolizes a new student's entry into the University and his or her subsequent experiences, challenges and development. Entry is suggested by the iconic representation of The Henley Gate at the east entrance to campus. Green, orange and yellow color schemes parallel the anticipated growth and maturation of new students. The logo and icons were created in 2008 with The Lily Guild in Santa Barbara, CA.
