Services

To Departments

  • Departments can refer students who are having academic, personal or social difficulties that are not of a serious nature. (Instead, when there is concern about danger to the student or others, follow the Distressed Students Protocol.) Students can contact their class-level advisors at the addresses listed on the SRT Contacts page.

  • Departments can submit announcements and events to be distributed in the monthly electronic newsletters.

To Teaching Assistants

To Graduate Students

  • Advising by e-mail and/or confidential coaching on academic, personal and social issues. (See SRT Contacts.)
  • Monthly e-newsletters (sent to U-Mail accounts on the first of each month) with relevant information, important announcements and upcoming events.

To Undergraduate Students

  • Advising by e-mail and/or confidential coaching on academic, personal and social issues. (See SRT Contacts.)
    • Talk with a friendly coach who cares about your success and happiness.
    • Learn about campus resources and opportunities.
    • Discuss ways to find your place on campus.
    • Get advice about how to address a problem or experience.
  • Monthly e-newsletters (sent to U-Mail accounts on the first of each month) with relevant information, important announcements and upcoming events.
  • The team strives to respond to all inquiries within 48 hours.
  • When team members don't know the answer to a question, they will assist students in finding it.
  • Team members frequently refer students to campus departments (e.g. the student's college or major department) when providing advising and coaching.
