My name is Meagan Turner and I am the co-chair of the Student Fee Advisory Committee this year. I am a third-year Biopsychology student and this is my second year serving on the committee. I am very excited and really looking forward to working with my fellow committee members and the various departments this year. I hope my involvement in this committee will further improve current and future student and faculty life while ensuring that funds are allocated to their fullest potential.

Steven Wolfson is a third year student at UCSB and this is his second year serving on the committee. He is currently an RA in Francisco Torres and enjoys volunteering with people who have special needs. His other major interests include writing and performing music, any sports team hailing from the great city of San Diego, and being a world-class citizen.

Hello, my name is Amanda Smith and I am a Fourth year Political Science and Black Studies double major. On campus I am involved in the Student Resource Building Governance Board, the Black Student Union, Joining All Cultures Together, Akanke, and am a Resident Coordinator in Single Studnet Apartments. My goal is to make sure that student interests are always a top priority in the allocation of student fees.

My name is Nicole Everett and I am a sophomore undergraduate here at this university as a Sociolgy major. This is my first year as a committee member on this advisory board, so I'm excited for a productive year. I'm sure that this committee board will bring forth great fundamental changes for the growing student population here at UCSB.

This is my first year on SFAC, and outside of this committee I am involved in other organizations. I am a Resident Assistant in Francisco Torres for the Multi-Cultural Floor am also involved with the Black Student Union, Student Commission On Racial Equality (SCORE), and Born Again Christian Ministries (BAM).

Melissa Kwon is a fifth year Ph.D. graduate student in the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education. This is her fourth year serving on the SFAC committee and she is very excited to represent graduate students.

Faculty
Edward Branigan is Director of Graduate Studies and a Professor in the
Department of Film Studies, and is an attorney. He is the author of
*Narrative Comprehension and Film* (New York: Routledge, 1992), which won the Katherine Singer Kovacs book prize "for the most distinguished
achievement of the year in Cinema Studies." He has also written *Point of
View in the Cinema* (New York: Mouton, 1984). A forthcoming book,
*Projecting a Camera: Language-Games in Film Theory*, is in press (New
York: Routledge). He is general co-editor of the American Film Institute
Film Readers series of which there are seventeen volumes in print. He has received two teaching awards (including a UCSB Distinguished Teaching Award) and is the father of four sons.

Stephanie Coghlan is the Associate Administrator for Student Health. Born and raised in Santa Barbara and attended UCSB in pre-law studies. Worked administratively at local property management companies from 1980-1996. Started her UCSB career at Student Health in 1996 as Medical Records Manager and was awarded the Staff Citation of Excellence in 1999. Was a member of Vice Chancellor Michael Young’s Management Development Group from 2004-2006. Worked with the Housing and Residential Operations Team from 2006-7. She is a member of Staff Assembly. This is her 2nd year on the committee.
