    Education Program for Culture Awareness

      Develops programs designed to promote a campus community that is committed to learning about and being enriched by a culturally diverse population of students, faculty and staff.

    Educational Opportunity Program/Student Affirmative Action

    • Upward Bound Program--provides services for low-income, first-generation college-bound students from Santa Barbara County.
    • American Indian College Motivation Programs--consists of information days held specifically for these students at college campuses and reservations throughout California.
    • PODS--program initiative which has a student-centered focus on achieving academic success and creates a community group that enhances learning. Groups are organized by majors.
    • EOP Counselors--assist students in clarifying academic, personal, career and financial concerns, and refer students to other professionals when necessary.

    International Students & Scholars

      Advises and assists international students and scholars with their needs and concerns of a general nature, nonimmigrant visa status and a variety of immigration issues, as well as assists academic departments, research scholars and foreign faculty with immigration matters.

    Isla Vista Liaison

      Committed to providing programs and services that improve the quality of life for all community members, both student and non-student residents.

    MultiCultural Center

      Strives to promote a sense of belonging among students of color, international students, and gay, lesbian and bisexual students; working to facilitate the retention and recruitment of students of color and to combat institutional racism and ethnocentrism.

    Orientation Programs

      Mission is to provide for continuing services and assistance that will: aid new students in their transition to the institution; expose new students to the broad educational opportunities of the institution; and integrate new students into the life of the institution.

    Office of Student Life

      Offers general assistance to students in problem solving and emergencies, addresses grievance issues, and gives referrals when necessary. Campus room scheduling, organizational advising and consultation, leadership development, student locator service.

    Office of the Registrar

      The Office of the Registrar establishes and maintains the academic records of the university and provides students with the enrollment services necessary to attain their educational goals.

    Physical Activities and Recreation

      Four minors in Physical Education, leisure art classes, intramurals, sport clubs, open recreation, equipment rentals, adventure programs, aquatic programs, children's programs, Wellness and Fitness Institute

    Student Health Service

      Provides full-service primary health care services with limited specialty services based on the special needs of the unique UCSB population.

    Student Information Systems & Technologies

      To support the SA Division’s mission of serving the UCSB student population by providing innovative and effective Information Systems for our staff.

      Through a team process, develop and implement campus-wide technology solutions for staff, faculty, and students.

    University Children's Center

      The University Children's Center provides a quality child care program for student, staff and faculty families within the University community.

    Visitor Center

      The Visitor Center provides the more than 10,000 campus guests with information sessions given by profesional staff and tours led by volunteer student guides.

    Women's Center

      The Women's Center provides a climate in which women can celebrate and cultivate their common strengths as well as recognize their rich cultural and individual differences. The center and its programs are open to women and men from both campus and community.
