UCSB Safe Zone Project
This program allows for faculty, staff, and graduate students to post a visible
display of their support of LGBTQI members of our campus community. The pamphlet
comes with a colorful rainbow sticker, with the words "UCSB
Safe Zone". The intent is to show one's support of LGBTQI issues in a visible,
positive way. The accompanying pamphlet describes the need and intent of the
program, and lists specific action steps that others can take to be an ally.
For more information about the program, or to get either a pamphlet or sticker,
please contact the Resource Center for Sexual & Gender
Diversity.
