California Department of Veteran Affairs

The Division of Veterans Services is responsible for administering a number of special programs, benefits and services for California veterans and their families. For personalized assistance in learning about your veteran benefits, or for help filing a claim for benefits, contact your local County Veterans Services Office.

Military One Source

Military OneSource is a Department of Defense-funded program providing comprehensive information on every aspect of military life at no cost to active duty, Guard and reserve service members, and their families. Information includes, but is not limited to, deployment, reunion, relationship, grief, spouse employment and education, parenting and child care, and much more.

Student Veterans of America

SVA provides military veterans with resources, support, and advocacy needed to succeed in higher education and post-graduation.

In addition to the above resources, the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, and Veterans of Foreign Wars have multiple chapters that meet in the local area.
