Make a Difference – Register and Vote!

The business of the University is the education of citizens – the life training of our nation’s next generation of leaders. As part of enhancing citizenship training, promoting civic responsibility, and transmitting UCSB’s core values of scholarship, leadership and citizenship, every member of the campus community--students, faculty and staff -- are encouraged to register and vote.

UCSB provides a number of options for registering to vote:

CheckboxOn campus:
  • A Voter Registration Drive, sponsored by the Associated Students and the Voter Registration Volunteer Coalition, will take place on campus from September 22 through October 20, 2008. There are two official UCSB Voter Registration sites on campus located at the University Center and the Arbor Corridor. Students may also register year-round at the Student Resource Building.

  • Voter registration forms are available at the following locations:

    Office of Student Life (2260 SRB)
    U.S. Post Office (University Center)
    Associated Students (University Center)
    Student Resource Building (SRB) Information Desk
    Graduate Students Association (2502 University Center)
    University Center
    Davidson Library
For campus voter registration information or assistance, contact the Office of Student Life at 893-7884.

CheckboxOnline: complete a voter registration form online and have a typed registration form mailed to you for signature by accessing www.sos.ca.gov/elections/elections_vr.htm.
