The business of the University is the education of citizens – the life training
of our nation’s next generation of leaders. As part of enhancing citizenship
training, promoting civic responsibility, and transmitting UCSB’s core values
of scholarship, leadership and citizenship, every member of the campus
community--students, faculty and staff -- are encouraged to register and vote.
UCSB provides a number of options for registering to vote:
On campus:
- A Voter Registration Drive, sponsored by the Associated Students and the
Voter Registration Volunteer Coalition, will take place on campus from September 22 through
October 20, 2008. There are two official UCSB Voter Registration sites on
campus located at the University Center and the Arbor Corridor. Students may also register year-round at the Student Resource Building.
