The Women's Center provides or facilitates a number of services for student parents at UCSB.

Priority Registration
Student parents who have dependent children living with them at least 50% of the time may request priority registration for courses. The Women’s Center must meet with you in person and certify your eligibility. Make an appointment by calling 893-3778.

Quarterly Child-Care Grants
The Women’s Center helps facilitate student access to Associated Students child care grants. Please note that child care grants are always due the fourth or eighth week of the quarter. Stop by for an application. 

Annual Zoo Pass
If you are eligible for a child care grant, you may also receive an annual pass to the Santa Barbara Zoo for your entire family. Turn in your application with your child care grant application.

Lactation Rooms
 Spaces for breast feeding or pumping are available on campus. Contact the Work/Life office at http://hr.ucsb.edu/worklife/ or 893-7323 for locations. To access the lactation room in the Student Resource Building, you may sign out a key in the Women’s Center.
