Religious Life

There are places of worship for many denominations and faiths in UCSB’s surrounding communities of Isla Vista, Goleta, and Santa Barbara. Local churches and religious organizations are listed below.

The Milton Rosiman Jewish Student Center is home to the , which opened in spring 2001 in Isla Vista. The Hillel space is open to all students Hillel student organization

In addition, there are a variety of organizations created by students to focus on faith-based exploration and connections with other students. UCSB’s Office of Student Life registers student organizations with a focus on Buddhist, Christian, Muslim, and Jewish faiths, among others.
